I build things. Constantly. Around fifty repos on my own git server, most of them running right now on one workstation — this social site, an AI pipeline chaining image / 3D / video models, a persistent-memory engine for LLM agents, a virtual pet running the original Creatures 3 brain, a Windows-95-themed Linux desktop, a hand-tracked GPU music visualiser, an ESP32 sensor mesh. If a week passes without something new booting, something has gone wrong.

The through-line: own the whole stack. Self-host it, wire it together, keep the data at home. Local LLMs over someone’s API. My own git server, dashboard and design system. Docker where it helps, systemd where it doesn’t.

• Range — web apps, local AI serving, GPU graphics, 3D rigging, audio DSP, hardware / IoT, retro-computing.
• Runs on — a Lenovo ThinkStation P620, an RTX A4000, and stubbornness.
• Output — high. Shipped and finished-enough beats perfect and unreleased.

TuxSpace exists because the social web stopped being social. Your feed became a slot machine, your friends became “content,” and the page about you got flattened into a template nobody chose. Then the next wave showed up trying to sell you tokens on top of the wreck.

No more web 3.0. No coins, no wallets, no engagement farming, no ranked feed deciding what you’re allowed to see, no dark patterns tuned to keep you scrolling. If a feature only exists to extract attention or money, it doesn’t ship here.

What’s left is the good part: people who make things finding each other, growing in public — post the rough draft, the half-working build, the thing you’re proud of — on a page that is actually yours. You write the HTML. You own the vibe. It’s beautiful because you made it beautiful. That’s the whole pitch.
